本校、機械制御工学専攻1年 木下稔基君が、2016年9月25日（日）～9月28日（水）に中国(北京)で開催された国際シンポジウム（Fifth International Symposium on Explosion, Shock-wave and High-velocity Phenomena )にて「Numerical Analysis of Behavior of Opposing Unsteady Supersonic Jets in a Flow Field withShields」についての発表を行い，Young Scientist Awardを受賞しました。

【学生の感想】
　この度、Fifth International Symposium on Explosion, Shock wave and High-strain-rate PhenomenaにおいてYoung Scientist Awardを頂きました。本科、専攻科と行ってきた研究がこのような形で評価していただき、大変嬉しく思います。
本研究は、遮蔽板を設置したダブルパルスレーザアブレーションにより生成される半導体薄膜を制御することを目的とした流体解析です。実験では確認することのできない衝撃波がプルームに与える影響を数値解析により明らかにすることで最適な遮蔽版の設置位置を決定することができました。
　今回、中国で行われた国際学会に参加し、賞を頂けたことは私自身に研究者としての自信を持たせてくれるものでした。これに満足することなく今後とも研究に励みたいと思います。
